In the House of the Se\u00f1or. Robes and brotherhoods of the Se\u00f1or of the Milagros in the world <\/strong> offers an international programme of exhibitions dedicated to Se\u00f1or de los Milagros as one of the most profound spiritual, visual and communal expressions in Peru and, at the same time, a devotional phenomenon undergoing the greatest expansion in the world today.<\/p>\n

The initiative has been conceived with the aim of providing a historical, iconographic and anthropological interpretation of the cult, capable of showing not only the power of the image, but also the ritual, physical and communal universe that underpins it: the robes, the brotherhoods, the procession, the miracles, the singing, the incense, the colours, the flavours, the memory and the hope.<\/p>\n

The exhibition is travelling<\/em> and modular<\/em>, designed to integrate research, heritage, cultural diplomacy and community. Its aim is to initiate a curatorial narrative shared across various cities, rigorous in its historical fundamentals and respectful of its spiritual dimension, capable of adapting to different local contexts without losing conceptual, visual and symbolic consistency. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Adine Gavazzi<\/h4>

Scientific collaborator at the Faculty of communication, culture and society - USI<\/p>

Swiss architect from the Polytechnic University of Milan, specialized in Andean and Amazonian anthropology, studies the cultures of forests, the landscapes of care and ceremonial pre-colonial and indigenous architecture. She has worked in all the regions of the Neotropics and at sites of World Heritage of Nasca, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Tiahuanaco, and R\u00edo Abiseo. Her field-based technomorphology has established a theoretical framework for the analysis of tangible and intangible heritage across three continents. <\/p>\n

She is a founding member of the UNESCO Chair of the University of Genoa in Anthropology of Health and a professor at the Universidad Nacional Pedro Ru\u00edz Gallo in Lambayeque, the Universidad Nacional Intercultural de Amazonia in Pucallpa, and the Universidad Nacional Intercultural in Quillabamba. She also collaborates with the UNESCO Chair in ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism in World Heritage Sites. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Lorenzo Cantoni<\/h4>

Director of the UNESCO Chair at USI - Universit\u00e0 della Svizzera italiana<\/p>

Graduated in Philosophy, he obtained a PhD in the field of education. He is a professor at USI \u2013 Universit\u00e0 della Svizzera italiana (Lugano, Switzerland), Faculty of Communication, Culture and Society, where he serves as Director of the Institute of Digital Technologies for Communication and as Head of the UNESCO Chair in ICT to develop and promote sustainable tourism in World Heritage Sites, established at USI in 2013. He is member of the WHES - World Heritage Experience Switzerland board and director of the <\/span>Master in Digital Fashion Communication<\/a><\/span>, offered in collaboration with Sorbonne University (Paris 1 Panth\u00e9on-Sorbonne), as well as the Master in International Tourism<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

Alessandro Tosi<\/h4>

Scientific Director of the Museo della Grafica at Palazzo Lanfranchi<\/p>

He teaches and conducts research in the Department of Civilizations and Forms of Knowledge at the University of Pisa as a professor of Modern Art History. He served as President of the degree program in \"Cultural Heritage Sciences\" from 2003 to 2006, President of the joint council of the degree programs in \"Tourism Sciences\" and \"Design and Management of Mediterranean Tourism Systems\" from 2008 to 2014 and from 2021 to 2023. He is currently Vice President of the University of Pisa\u2019s Museum System. Since 2007, he has been the Scientific Director of the Museo della Grafica at Palazzo Lanfranchi (Municipality of Pisa, University of Pisa), which houses the collections of the Cabinet of Drawings and Prints of the University of Pisa. <\/p>\n

Anel Pancorvo<\/h4>

Founder and Managing Director at Apus Edizioni<\/p>

With over 25 years of experience as an independent cultural promoter, she has published more than sixty publications of large format, of scientific and visual content of high quality, in co-publication or collaboration with international renown institutions, including Jaca Book (Italy), Hazan (France), the Frankfurt Zoological Society (Germany), the Getty Research Center (US), the Khipu Database Project at Harvard, the Cervantes Institute in Hamburg and Frankfurt, as well as with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture of Peru.<\/p>\n

Her work covers a wide range of topics, from pre-Columbian archaeology, to the anthropology of the sacred and to biodiversity.
